Portfolio Management Team

A student-managed, long-only equity fund investing $120K from the Ewing-Schleeter Harris Fund. PMT admits around 10 students a semester. Open to all classes.

Reynolds Investment Fund

Housed at UNC Kenan-Flagler, the Reynolds Investment Fund is a student-managed, long-only equity and fixed income fund with $750K in assets. Members develop hands-on skills in security selection, portfolio management, economic analysis, and investment communication. Open to sophomores and above.

UNC Credit & Restructuring

CRX prepares members for careers in financial restructuring, opportunistic credit, private credit, and other event-driven roles through a curriculum of education sessions, corporate events, and speakers. Umbrella organization for the UNC Special Situations Group. Open to all UFS members.

UNC Special Situations Group

Hands-on experience analyzing distressed and event-driven investments. Operates under UNC Credit & Restructuring.

Carolina Hedge Fund

Originally founded as the Fixed Income Association, the Carolina Hedge Fund now invests across equities, fixed income, and derivatives. Members gain exposure to credit and capital markets, portfolio management, and risk strategy while preparing for roles at investment banks, asset managers, and hedge funds. Open to all classes.

UNC Mergers & Acquisitions Group

UNC's first M&A-focused club, founded in 2023 and dedicated to teaching financial valuation and the construction of sell-side pitch decks for live-feel transactions. The group operates under the Clearwater Investment Group with proprietary modeling and pitchbook templates. Open to all classes.

The Catalyst Group

An investment banking and private equity recruitment club with a curriculum centered on technical training, networking, and offer prep. Open to sophomores only.
